1 cup Hudson cream white corn meal mix (or your preference)
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
Mix with buttermilk to make a thick batter.

Heavily oil an iron skillet with canola oil, sprinkle small amount of meal in the oil.
Pour mixture into cold skillet.
Preheat oven to 500ยบ
bake for 20 minutes

When out of the oven flip upside down in a plate, it should pop right out of the skillet.
