1 can of quartered artichoke hearts, rinsed and drained
2 T. butter
2 T. Olive oil
½ c. flour, seasoned with 1 t. salt, 1.2 t. black pepper, 1 t. granulated garlic
3 eggs + 2 T. water, beaten
½ lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt butter and olive oil together without burning the butter. Quickly coat the artichokes in the eggs and also coat them in flour. Fry them in the butter/oil until they are golden brown, over medium heat, being careful not to get the butter burned or too brown.

Squeeze ½ of a lemon over the entire pan, and pour everything onto a plate, drizzling pan drippings over the artichokes.
