6 cloves of garlic - minced
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
3 tsp. salt or to taste
1 large can of crushed tomatoes

1 lb. penne pasta
2 tbsp. vodka
1 c. heavy cream
1/4 cup fresh snipped parsley
Directions:
Directions:
In large sauce pan, saute chopped garlic, red pepper and salt in olive oil on medium heat until slightly golden. Add can of crushed tomatoes,stir and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes until sauce thickens.

While sauce is cooking, in a separate pan cook penne in salted water. Remove and drain pasta when pasta is not quite al dente. It will cook more when added to sauce.

After sauce has thickened, add drained pasta to sauce, stir, add the vodka and cook and stir for another few minutes. Then add the heavy cream to pasta and continue to stir until cream and sauce are well blended and cream is heated through. Lastly add snipped parsley. Serve
