3 cups self-rising flour (or 3 cups regular all-purpose flour plus 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and baking powder)
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 can or bottle of beer
1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Grease a 10" loaf pan.

Mix together the flour and sugar. Stir in the beer. Batter will be lumpy. Put into loaf pan. Pour melted butter over top.

Bake 40 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from pan and eat right away.

This is insanely good and easy. Especially those end crunchy pieces. This goes great with stews or casseroles.
