2 pints milk
1/2 to 3/4 c. Sugar
2 tbsp. nuts (pistachios, almonds, etc)
1/2 tsp. citric acid, dissolved in 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil half the milk and add the citric solution as it comes to a boil (for about 5 minutes). Carefully remove the water that is left above the cream. Set aside.
Boil the remaining milk in a pot for about 3 minutes. Add the above cream and boil till the mixture thickens, stirring continuously. Add the sugar and continue to cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Stir until it thickens to a lump. Pour it in a tray and sprinkle the chopped nuts. Serve when cool.
