1 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 c Crisco shortening
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
2/3 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 c white chocolate baking chips
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Beat shortening, peanut butter, sugar and egg in large mixer bowl on medium speed until light and creamy, about 4 minutes. Stir in flour mixture, baking chips and pecans. Mix well. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes or until light golden. Cool 10 minutes and remove to rack to cool completely.
TIP: Semi-sweet and milk chocolate baking chips, almonds and walnuts all work well.
