Ingredients:
1 or more frying chickens
salt and pepper to taste
1 stick of butter
garlic powder
juice of 2 or 3 lemons
oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange cut up chicken in a baking dish. Pour the lemon juice over it all and dot the chicken with butter. Sprinkle salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder over it. Bake 350* for about 1 hour. Cover it for about 40 minutes and then remove cover so it can brown. Baste from time to time, and a little water if it becomes dry. Serve with hot cooked rice, and use pan drippings as gravy. (I have modified this a bit. I use chicken breasts, and instead of butter use olive oil).
