1/2 pt. split peas or 1lb ground split peas flour
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2-3 cloves of garlic, grounded
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. ground gheera
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Soak peas overnight, then drain and grind finely. Mix all ingredients using water to make it to a dropping consistency. Drop into hot oil squishing through the thumb and fore finger to make balls, about 3/4 inch in diameter fry until golden brown, remove from oil and drain.
