2 cups raisins in 1-1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 cup oleo
2 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1 cup raisin water
4 cups oats
4 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Boil raisins in water for five minutes, drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of the water. Cream oleo, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well flour, cinnamon, salt and oatmeal. Dissolve baking soda in the reserved raisin water. Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture alternating with soda and water. Add raisins and mix well. Drop dough on ungreased baking sheet with a tablespoon. Bake for 15 minutes.
