1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T grated onion
4 T butter
1/4 C dark brown sugar
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t prepared mustard (yellow, but Dijon would work)
1 C finely chopped pecans

Preparation: 20 minutes

Combine the cream cheese, garlic and onion with fork.
Shape into 6"x1" disk and place on a plate. Cover and refrigerate. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan and heat until butter melts. Cover chilled cheese with the nut mixture. Wrap and chill. Serve at room temp with buttery crackers or toasts. Mixture is thick so will pile nicely and not run off cheese mixture. Coat the sides as well.
