2 c. Sooji or Roasted Upma Rava ( found in Indian grocery)
4 c. water
1 onion
1 red chili
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 piece ginger
1 tsp. salt
Few mustard seeds
Few cashew nuts
Few curry leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, finely chopped ginger, red chili, curry leaves, chopped onions, and cashew nuts on a medium-low flame. Fry till translucent. Add salt and water to the pan. When it is boiling, add sooji or upma rava gradually to the pan while stirring. Make sure there are no lumps formed. Turn the heat to low and cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

Be careful while frying the curry leaves, as they pop if the oil is too hot.
