1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup quick oats, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together sugar, butter and eggs until creamy. Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Stir in peanuts and oats. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375º oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool. Frost with Peanut Frosting. Yield; 5 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
PEANUT FROSTING -- Mix 3 cups powdered sugar with 1/3 cup milk. Blend in 1/2 cup peanut butter. Mix until smooth.
