1/2 cup raw rice
3 cups diluted milnot (1 1/2 cups milnot & 1 1/2 cups water)
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/3 cup butter or margarine
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice with 2 cups of diluted milnot in the top of a double boiler. Cook over hot water until tender. Add raisins and butter. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and remaining milnot. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Set in a pan half full of warm water. Bake in slow oven at 325º for 30 minutes or until set.
