1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk, hot
2 eggs, beaten 5 minutes
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted

TOPPING

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
dash salt
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat eggs 5 minutes and add sugar, mix with flour mixture. Then add hot milk, vanilla and butter quickly blend. Pour into greased 12 x 8 x 1 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.
For topping; cream together butter, sugar and salt. Stir in nuts. Spread on cake and broil 2-3 minutes.
