4 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate or 12 level tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix chocolate and butter together over hot water. Cool slightly. Gradually add sugar to eggs beating thoroughly after each addition. Blend in chocolate mixture. Stir in flour. Then add vanilla and walnuts. Spread in greased pan. Bake in slow oven at 325º for about 40 minutes.
