6-8 short ribs
flour
1 med. onion, chopped
1 cup red burgundy wine
1 cup beef stock
salt and pepper
olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and Pepper and dredge the short ribs in flour.
Add about 3 Tablespoons of olive oil to an ovenproof pan. Heat over med heat and brown ribs.
remove ribs and saute onion until soft and translucent. Add wine and boil for approx 5 min.
Add beef broth and boil an additional 5 min. Add the short ribs back to the pan, cover, and place in a 350 degree oven for 2-3 hours. Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, or rice.
