Meat Balls:
2 lb lean ground beef
1 lb sausage meat
1 small onion, diced
1 pkge Lipton Roasted onion and Garlic Soup Mix
1 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 T oregano
1 tsp sage
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Sauce:
1 small tin tomato paste, one tin of water
1 jar V8 juice
2 large tins Tomato Juice, one tin of water
1 T oregano
1 T sage
salt and pepper to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
2 lbs spaghetti

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients for meat balls, and shape into small balls, brown on all sides in hot oil. Stirring gently around in pan. Drain, set aside. Mix sauce ingredients, adding a tomato paste tin of water to the drippings from the meatball pan. Add V8 juice and tomato juice and at least one tomato juice tin of water. Add spices. Bring to a slow boil, turn down and add meatballs to the sauce. Continue to cook on low heat for most of the day, checking to make sure it is not getting too thick. If it is add more water. Cook spaghetti, remove meatballs from sauce and cover with foil to keep warm. Pour cooked, drained spaghetti into the sauce and mix thoroughly. Serve with a fresh salad or a plate of fresh veggies. Enjoy

This is the Millie and Frank Donis recipe for Italian Spaghetti and Meatballs. Uncle Frank said you had to be able to feed one more person. He was the "cook" but, Auntie Millie did the work.
