1 lb. lean hamburger
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 tsp ginger
1 tsp water
1/4 cup flour
3 T oil
1 can pineapple chunks, 14 oz
1/4 c brown sugar
2 T cornstarch
1/4 c cider vinegar
1 T soya sauce
1 green pepper, cut into chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meat with salt and ginger. Shape into small balls. Beat egg and water slightly. dip balls into egg mixture and then roll in flour. Brown in oil and remove from pan.

Drain syrup from pineapple into a one cup measure. Add water to make 1 cup. Stir this into pan drippings. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch, add vinegar and soya sauce. Stir this into pineapple mixture. Cook, stirring until mixture thickens, about 3 minutes. Arrange meatballs, pineapple chunk and peppers in sauce. Simmer until hamburger is done, about 10 minutes.
