2 envelopes Knox gelatin dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water
16 oz. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 3 oz. Jell-o packages

Layer Jell-o, mixture, Jell-o, mixture, etc. Make sure to set each layer before adding another. You can use any Jell-o flavors you wish. I think Grandma used to use red, yellow, green.
