5-6 cups Flour
1 doz Eggs (Use 1 Whole Egg & 11 Yolks)
salt to taste

Mix with hands until a slightly stiff dough ball. Cut small sections from ball and using scissors - snip into bowling, salted water. When dough is all sniped into boiling water, cover with the lid until mixture floats to the top. Shut off stove and knepps are done! Serve with fried pork chops or slices of ham and mashed potatoes and hot butter.

HOT LETTUCE: Cut up 1 head of lettuce, onion, salt & pepper. Fry bacon (5-6 slices). Crumble bacon. Pour 1 large glass of vinegar into skillet. Heat up and pour over lettuce. Mix well.

This is a German dish, handed down from my great-grandmother! The hot lettuce makes this dish really tasty.
