1 C. flour
1 t. sugar
½ t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
½ salt
1 beaten egg
2 T melted butter
1 C. buttermilk
4 T. butter
½ C. pecan halves
¼ c. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients into large bowl. In another bowl beat egg & add melted butter & buttermilk (make by putting 1 T lemon juice in measuring cup and adding milt to measure 1 cup). Fold into dry ingredients along with pecans. Drop batter into hot skillet adding more butter & oil to the skillet at necessary.
