3 lbs., beef roast
2 onions, chopped
2 (12 fluid oz) cans or bottles of beer
6 tsp worchestershire sauce
2 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp ground black pepper
salt to taste
1 (18oz) bottle of barbecue sauce
2 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Place roast in a large roasting pan and scatter chopped onions over. In a large bowl, combine worchestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour in beer, stir and add to roasting pan. Add water to the top of beef. Cover and cook 4-5 hrs. When meat is cooked, shred with two forks and add barbecue sauce and mix well. Serve on toasted buns.
