2/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 C Apple Cider Vinegar
1 T Fresh Minced Onion
1/4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp Paprika
Opt: 1 T Optional Poppy Seeds

10 oz of washed and trimmed Baby Spinach

1/3 Cup Almond slices roasted or chopped Walnuts
Dried Blueberries or Cranberries or
Fresh sliced Strawberries, blueberries or mandarin oranges

In a large salad bowl, mix sugar, olive oil, vinegar, onion, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and optional poppy seeds. Pour into a glass measuring cup or jar to add later. In the same salad bowl layer spinach, nuts and fruit. Toss together. Top with dried blue berries or cranberries. Just before serving pour just enough dressing over the salad to coat each leaf. Save the rest of the dressing for later.

In the winter when fruit is scarce, I use an 11 oz can of mandarin oranges drained. This salad in a pretty bowl makes an excellent center piece.
