1 yellow cake mix
4 c. chopped rhubarb
1 c. sugar
1 pt. whipping cream

Directions:

Mix cake mix as directed on the package and pour into a glass 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spread rhubarb over cake mix. Sprinkle 1 c. sugar over rhubarb. Pour whipping cream over the top. Bake at 350° for one hour. Serve warm or cold with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream. Store left over in the refrigerator.

Marion uses lemon cake mix in place of yellow. She also suggests that you can use spice cake mix with apples or white cake mix and pineapple with some brown sugar added to the white cake mix.
