2 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
6 cups flour
3 cups quick oatmeal, blended
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 16 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Note: Measure oatmeal, blend in food processor until smooth.

Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Shape into golf ball size balls. Flatten slightly. Bake in 400º oven for 8 minutes.
