1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 tbsp. cream
2 tsp.cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE ICING FOR SUGAR COOKIES

1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 tbsp. milk or cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, cream and vanilla. Continue creaming. Mix together flour, soda and cream of tartar. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Divide dough into quarters. Chill 1 hour. On lightly floured surface roll to 1/8" thick. Cut into desired shapes with cutters. Bake at 350º for 7-10 minutes. Cool and decorate. To make glaze, blend all ingredients together and brush on cookies with pastry brush.
