1 medium head cabbage, (shredded)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8tsp. pepper
1/4 C. vinegar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. uncooked rice
1 28oz can chopped tomatoes
2 C. chopped ham
4 slices bacon, cooked & chopped
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 large onion (diced)
1 T. butter
2 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put cabbage in large kettle, barely cover with water, add salt, pepper, vinegar, brown sugar, rice, tomatoes, meat & paprika.Bring to a boil, reduce heat to keep @ a simmer. In skillet cook onion in butter until soft, add flour, mix & stir into soup. Simmer about an hour. Thick & tasty soup.
