1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, shortening and eggs. Mix together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Roll dough into balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. (2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon.) Bake on cookie sheet at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
