1 cup shortening
1 cup oleo
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
2 cups uncooked oatmeal
2 cups corn flakes
1 cup pecans
1 cup flake coconut
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt together shortening and oleo. Blend in sugars and vanilla and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda and add to mixture. Add oatmeal, cereal, nuts, chocolate chips and coconut. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Use ice cream scoop to measure cookie dough out (about 1/4 cup) Bake six cookies to a sheet. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
