1 lb. pitted dates
1 lb. pecan halves
4 eggs, beaten separately
1 C sugar
1 C flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º. Combine dates and pecans. Separately combine sugar, flour, salt and baking powder, add beaten eggs and mix well. Add mixture to dates and nuts. Pour into large grease sprayed 9x5 loaf pan and bake for 2 1/2 hours or 5 mini loaves for 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean.
