1 lb. Pork steak, cut in 2 x 1/2 stripes
1 tsp paprika
2 T. shortening
3 T. brown sugar
1/4 C. instant nonfat dry milk
2 T. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 C. drained pineapple juice
1/3 C. vinegar
1 T. soy sauce
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1/3 C. water
1 green water, cut in 2 x 1/2'" stripes
1/3 thinly sliced onion
1 - 13 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained

Sprinkle pork pieces with paprika. Brown well in hot shortening in 10' skillet over medium heat. Cover and cook for 3 - 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Drain off drippings; push meat to one side of skillet. In a 1 1/2 qt bowl, mix brown sugar, dry milk, cornstarch and salt until well combines.Gradually add pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and water; stir until mixture is smooth. Pour into skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until thick and smooth. Cover and simmer for 8 -10 minutes or until vegetables are tender but crisp; do not boil.

Serve over hot rice.
