2/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
4 teaspoon milk
food coloring*
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can Buttercream Icing

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to mixing bowl a little at a time and mix. Add more dry and mix continue until all dry ingredients are mixed well.

Refrigerate 4 hrs or overnight before rolling and cutting into shapes. Bake 375° for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.

Ice with buttercream icing and top with sprinkles for pizzazz.
