1 pound package ground pork sausage
1 cup shredded Italian 5 cheese blend
1 8 ounce package Velveeta
4 large eggs
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits.

Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9x9 pan with nonstick spray. Set aside. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium eat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is browned and crumbly. Drain well and cool. Sprinkle sausage and cheeses in prepared dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour over sausage mixture. Arrange biscuits evenly over top. Bake for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes longer. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

I made this for the first time at Christmas, 2009. It appealed to me as something kind of unique for breakfast and sometimes that's kind of hard to do. I have a family of breakfast eaters, so it was no surprise when Tim ate it and proclaimed it as one of his favorite all time breakfasts.
