1 teaspoon crushed garlic
4 large onions, thinly sliced, then cut into 1 to 1 and1/2 inch strips
1 teaspoon dry red pepper flakes
3/4 cup Paul Newman's Marinara Sauce (approx)
Add paprika powder for color

Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan. Cover and simmer slowly until onions are tender. Do not brown onions.

Final touch, according to Dad, "add 'jist a tech of salt'."
