1 1/2 TB butter
1/2 c powdered sugar
watermelon cut into 1/2" strips (remove rind)
1 jar of maraschino cherries
1 box white cake mix
Substitute the water required for the cake mix with watermelon juice.

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º

Mix the melted butter and powered sugar together and pour into the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the watermelon slices on the bottom of a cast iron skillet or a 13x9".

Prepare the cake mix per instructions on box, substituting the water with watermelon juice. Pour the cake mix in the baking dish. Bake according to box instructions. Allow cake to cool about 20 minutes before turning out onto a plate for serving.
