Fresh garden green beans, broken into pieces and washed.
For quarts: 1 teaspoon salt
For pints: 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place green beans into jars and sprinkle with salt. Place jars into prepared canner.
For quarts cook at 10 pounds pressure for 25 minutes.
For pints cook at 10 pounds pressure for 20 minutes.

Wait until pressure drops to zero. Remove petcock slowly and allow to cool slightly before removing to dry towel to cool completely. Check lids to determine all are secured tightly. Store in cool, dark pantry. Enjoy your summer garden during the winter months!
