1 cup pecans
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Chop pecans finely in a food processor. In a bowl, mix on low speed, butter and brown sugar until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until blended. Stir in pecans. Spoon by heaping teaspoon, spacing 3-inches apart. Bake 6 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack.
