1/4 lb. butter
1 small bottle white karo syrup
1 cup sugar + 1/3 cup flour, mixed together
1 can condensed Eagle Brand milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup English walnuts
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in pan and add karo; let boil 5 minutes. Add sugar and flour mix and Eagle Brand Milk. Be sure to stir constantly while mixture is boiling. Try often by dropping cold water until medium hard ball forms, while boiling, brown flecks will appear, but this will blend into a solid caramel color. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a 9X13 pan, well greased with margarine. When cool, cut and wrap in waxed paper.
