1 Box of Duncan Hines Devils Food Cake Mix
Coconut Pecan frosting
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 lb butter
1 3/4 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

For filling:
1 box of instant chocolate pudding

Directions:
Make the cake following the usual directions on the box. For the frosting: combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat. Add coconut and pecans, beat until cool and of spreading consistency.

Mix instant chocolate pudding with 1 cup milk, let set. Whip 1 pint of whipping cream and fold in chocolate pudding.

Put the pudding between the layers and the frosting on the outside.

I don't advise you to triple layer this cake. Two layers will do. Although three layers can be quite impressive!!
