1 1/4 lbs. broccoli
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
4 tablespoons flour
3 1/2 cups milk
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook broccoli; chop and set aside. Melt butter in large heavy pan. Add mushrooms and onions and saute till tender. Add flour and stir till bubbly. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups milk; stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Add cheese and stir till smooth. Add remaining milk. Add broccoli and heat thoroughly.
