2 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2/3 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2/3 cup walnuts, chopped

3 tablespoons butter, browned
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour, soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeg together; set aside. Beat brown sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs, lemon peel and juice. Add flour mixture and sour cream. Stir in walnuts. Drop by nice rounded spoonfuls 2-inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes till edges are brown. Cool. Mix butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Spread on cookies. Top with walnuts.
