Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 cups all purpose flour
1 dozen eggs
dash of salt

Directions:
Mix flour and salt in a large bowl and set aside. Whisk eggs and add to the flour mixture. Stir real well with a fork to form a large ball. Separate ball into 5 small balls. Spread a sheet folded on your kitchen table and sprinkle lots of flour over it. Roll balls out very thin. You will have to keep putting flour on the dough. Fold rolled out dough in 1/2 then 1/4. Spread newspapers over your bed and spread another clean sheet over the newspapers. Open the folded dough and lay it on top of the sheet. Let the dough dry; making sure that it doesn't get too hard. (You can turn a fan on them if you wish.) When dry, take each rolled out dough and stack on top of each other. Return to the kitchen table and roll each rolled out dough really tight. Lay the rolled up dough on a cutting board and slice real thin. (You can store the noodles in the freezer for later use. Make sure you let the noodles completely thaw before cooking.) Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles approximately 20 minutes.

This was Grandma Berling's famous homemade noodle recipe! I make them every year for Thanksgiving.
