1 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla together. Sift flour and salt together and add to mixture. Add chopped nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet (cookies do not spread). Bake at 400 degrees till set; but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. When cookies are cool, roll in powdered sugar again.
