Ingredients:  
2 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups pecans pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar and vanilla to buttermilk.

Dissolve soda in butter milk sugar mixture.

Add butter.

Cook to soft ball.

Remove from fire and add 2 cups of pecans.

Stir until creamy.

Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
