In a pint canning jar, layer the Country Gravy mix. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients (chicken bouillon granules, bacon bits, celery flakes, minced onion, parsley flakes) together; add to jar. Top that with peas and finally bay leaf on top. Cover with decorative accent to jar cover, tie with ribbon or yarn and attach cooking recipe.

TO COOK: In a slow cooker; Add 7 cups water and all ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring often as peas will stick together. Reduce heat and cook approx 4 hours or until peas are tender. This makes a great soup.
