1 c. chopped celery
salt, pepper, dill weed

Directions:
Cut bacon into small pieces. In a large pot saute ( do not burn) onion and bacon. Peel and cube potatoes. Add this and the celery to the bacon and onion along with enough water to just cover potatoes. Boil about 1/2 hr or until tender, mash slightly if desired. Add milk along with salt, pepper and dill. Bring to a boil again stirring often. Reduce heat to a simmer. It will get thicker the longer you simmer it, a bit of flour will speed things up. Enjoy!
