2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup white wine
1 - 7 oz. can chunky tuna in water
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. Italian spice (oregano, marjoram, rosemary, bay)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet.
Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
Saute until soft and add tomato.
Saute another few minutes and then add all of the other ingredients.
Reduce head and simmer for 1/2 hour covered.

Meanwhile, bring the pasta water to a boil and cook pasta al dente.
