1 1/2 c. warm milk
2 (1/4 ounce) packages dry active yeast
1 c. plus 1 tbsp. sugar, divided
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. orange zest
1/2 c. orange juice
2 large eggs
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 to 7 c. bread flour

Orange glaze

2 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 c. orange juice

In a small bowl, combine 1 c. warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp. sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine remaining 1/2 c. milk, remaining 1 c. sugar, oil, zest, orange juice, eggs, poppy seeds and salt; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add yeast mixture, beating until combined.
Gradually beat in enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn dough out onto a heavily floured surface, and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.(about 8 minutes)
Place dough in a large greased bowl, turning to grease top. Loosely cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, for 1 hour, or until dough is double in size. Punch dough down, cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
Spray 30 muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray. Shape sough into 1 inch balls, and place 3 balls into each muffin cup. Loosely cover and let rise in warm place, free from drafts, for one hour or until rolls have doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 350º

Bake rolls for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes. Spoon orange glaze over warm rolls. Let stand for 5 minutes. Remove from pan, serve rolls warm.
