1 can (1#3oz) cherries
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Boil and thicken with 3 Tbsp. cornstarch in 1/4 cup water. Let cool. Dissolve 40 marshmallows in 1 cup milk in top of double boiler. Let cool.
1 1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup melted butter
3 T. Sugar
Mix together and put in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan, reserving about 1/3 of this mixture for over the top.

Whip 1 1/4 cups cream. Add to cooled marshmallow mixture. Put 1/2 of this mixture over crumb mixture in pan, add cherry mixture, them remainder of cream mixture. Put reserved crumbs over the top. This keeps well and may be made the day before. Mom's comment "GOOD".
