dash of salt
1 t butter
1 t vanilla
1 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together first 4 ingredients in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cook 7 to 8 minutes on high, stirring well. After 4 minutes, add next 2 ingredients, blending well. Microwave1 to 2 minutes more, peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot. Gently stir in baking soda until light and foamy. Pour and spread on lightly greased cookie sheet. Let cool and break into pieces. Microwaves vary, you may need to adjust time. This recipe can also be used with pecans. Do not add pecans at the beginning like you do the peanut, they will scorch. Cook on high for 4 minutes, add pecans, and cook 3 minutes longer.
